Digitize warehouse operations, especially order preparation, internal handling, inventory.

Diasen is a thriving company in the Marche hinterland, based in Sassoferrato (AN) and expanding into several international markets. In more than twenty years of activity, it has developed its core business in chemical production, on a proposal focused on sustainable comfort, declined through biomaltenes and paints with low environmental impact, which aim to meet increasingly articulated and complex needs of thermal, acoustic and hydrometric well-being of homes and buildings.
Cork is the strategic component of formulations, the main differentiator, the element of uniqueness and the determining pillar of corporate identity.

Need

The standardization of output products and solutions is a decisive component of Diasen’s business competitiveness, because high-tech materials and solutions require a consistency of effects and performance intimately linked to the optimal functioning of production processes.
On this delicate and qualifying aspect, Diasen had reached a turning point: it was necessary to ferry a production deeply centered on people’s experience and know-how into a new and more advanced context.
Diasen needed a production management MES (Manufacturing Execution System), interconnected to the plants for efficiency and monitoring of production processes.In addition, it was important that it be communicating with the CRM platform, to converge the entire order management cycle, from order acquisition to sales via, of course, production, in one place.

The solution: chemical production management

Chemical production management software-also linked to needs for customization of digital solutions, the result of the inherent peculiarities of Diasen products and solutions-was, upstream, an important element in the choice of the technological partner with whom to address and share this path of innovation.
Between the two business entities, Diasen and DIgimark, a relationship was built based on flexibility of solutions, full sharing of the customization path, involvement of all strategic and support stakeholders, and “ongoing shot correction” that allowed, step by step, to create a fruitful collaboration between the technical teams, a fluid exchange of data and information.
This special relationship made it possible to create the management software for chemical production, Portant 4.0, which was not dropped from above but was able to represent the synthesis of inputs, collaborations and advice from all the figures involved in the implementation of the project.

  • Modular and comprehensive software, easy to use, intuitive, user friendly and web based (usable on different devices);
  • Ad hoc interfaces were made according to the needs of the company;
  • An interactive control center has been designed, where the activities of each business function can be monitored in a streamlined way, to consult kpi and efficiency level at any time, which is useful in both forecasting and final stages;
  • Realized complete solution for managing the production process in its entirety: from scheduling of resources to putting into production, from procurement to warehouse storage. In addition, custom features were developed, such as booking meeting rooms.
